King's Town Bank Honored with the SGS 2024 ESG Awards – Sustainability & Society Award

On October 30, SGS held its annual awards ceremony and industry exchange forum, presenting three major awards: the ISO Plus Awards, ESG Awards, and IT Awards. A total of 45 companies received 48 awards, recognizing their outstanding achievements in quality management, sustainable development, and digital transformation.

Chiu Chih-hung, President of SGS Taiwan, stated that as the global push for net-zero emissions intensifies, ESG and digital transformation have become essential strategies for corporate development. SGS actively supports companies in balancing digitalization and sustainable development by leveraging data-driven technological innovation to optimize operations and reduce carbon footprints.

Stephen Pao, Vice President of the SGS Business Assurance, emphasized that only through dual transformation in digitalization and net-zero initiatives can businesses stand out in the future digital era. This awards ceremony not only celebrated outstanding enterprises but also served as an industry exchange platform. The event featured a keynote speech by Lecturer Anne Wu from National Chengchi University’s Department of Accounting, who shared insights on the Integrated Strategic Value Management System (iSVMS) and ESG management.
