King's Town Bank and Police Conducted Robbery Drill

As Chinese New Year is nearing, the need for cash among the public is surging. To prevent robbery and theft, King's Town Bank took part in a joint robbery drill with the Yujing Police. The drill was realistic and is efficiently enhanced the self-defense capability of the Bank and the capability of Police against crimes.

 

In the drill, 2 police officers disguising as robbers, barged into the Bank lobby, commanded the clerks to hand over cash. Immediately, the clerks hit the alarm button, which linked directly to the police. Also, the clerks noted the traits of the robbers, such as height, weight, facial characteristics, clothing, and accents. Upon receiving the alarm alert, Yujing Police Command Center sent out a patrolling team to the Bank and issued an order for arrest.

 

Simultaneously, the investigation team was also dispatched. The team activated drones and the license plate recognition system. At the east side of the Fengli Bridge at Provincial Highway 84, the criminals were identified, surrounded, and arrested. During the drill, people in the neighborhood, and passers-by crowded around to watch and exclaimed at the level of reality.

 

The director of Yujing Branch urged the public to request police protection when withdrawing large sums of cash. With the protection of the police, crime risks can be minimized. In addition, the director also requested all financial institutions in his jurisdiction to implement robbery drills to enhance self-defense ability and to achieve the best readiness.
